Assumptions
- Wall area = perimeter × height − 21 sq ft per door − 15 sq ft per window.
- Trim = perimeter × 0.5 sq ft (baseboard) + 80 sq ft per painted door (both sides + jamb) + 15 sq ft per window casing.
- +10% waste on everything.
- Room scan (beta): length, width and height from the scan's outer box; doors and windows from named objects in the file.
- Texture lowers coverage: light × 0.85, heavy × 0.7. Both factors are Sheenbid's assumption, not a manufacturer figure.
- New drywall gets one PVA primer coat on walls and ceiling; stained, patched or glossy surfaces get one stain-blocking coat.
- Cans: a quart for 0.25 gal or less; otherwise gallons, with a 5-gal pail replacing 5 singles where sold.
What it won't do
- No labor or crew days.
- No price, margin or material cost.
- No signed quote or deposit terms.
- Interiors only: walls, ceilings, trim.
